• Introduction

    GISPAM standing for GNU International Summer Program of AFDEX for Mexico has been held from 2014.

    This program was started by request of the State of Mexico to teach AFDEX for honored Mexican students and professors.

    GISPAM program mainly consists of four courses as follows:

    First, theoritical backgrounds including engineering mathematics and fundamentals of mechanics.

    Second, 3D CAD pratices for using CAE software.

    Third, CAE pratices of AFDEX, AnyCasting, MAPS-3D, RecurDyn, etc., developed in Korea.

    Fourth, field trips visiting major companies including SAMSUNG Electroics, POSCO, HYUNDAI or KIA Motors,
    Dongeun forging, Sungjin FOMA, Youngsin metal, etc. and fomous attractions in Korea.

    The students who had participated in the past got an impressive achievement by doing team project with learning the importance of teamwork.

    Moreover, they learned many things about Korean culture during this program.

    Staffs including Prof. Joun, who has been developing AFDEX,

    are very proud of organizing GISPAM and they are eager to make the program much more helpful to participants.
